Legend of Dracula Tamaioasa Romanesca

Legendary Dracula, DOP Dealu Mare (Romania)

It lacks a lot of accents on the vowels, but that does not prevent you from discovering this thousand-year-old grape variety with a strong personality.

Traditionally, it gives a richly aromatic and often sweet white wine. More recently, we started to offer it as a dry wine, and this one is very successful. If you like Muscat or Gewürztraminer, you will find family resemblances here.

On the nose, scents of dried apricot, honey, heady flowers, and fine herbs will take your nostrils by storm. The mouth is also expressive, but a fresh acidity prevents everything from being “too much”. A very sensory experience awaits you. Serve chilled, with coconut milk curries, or veggie couscous.
